June is filled with fun things! Because of this, my shops will all be closed periodically.
Hooray! It looks like I’m heading to Arizona once again, with my sister and her boys. I’m really looking forward to it. This time, we’re going during the week, so I’ll have to put both of my Etsy shops on vacation, which can be frustrating. But as I don’t want to miss shipping deadlines, it’s a must.
I started out not being able to think of places I really wanted to visit this year, but the more I’ve thought about it, the more places are popping into my head. I was probably thinking too grand at first, but now that I’m thinking smaller, there are quite a few more than 5 places…
No 4 – Camping
Sorry I’ve kept you waiting for installment 3 of the 5 places I want to go this year! I hit a mental block and couldn’t figure out where else I wanted to go! Just being honest 😛
No 3 – Museums & Galleries
Last weekend I hitched a ride with my brother to Arizona. His family lives out there, but temporarily, he works out here. So every Friday he makes the trek back home. From my house in Riverside, it only took about 5 hours, including 3 stops. It wasn’t a bad drive at all! However I can’t imagine doing it every weekend.
Yay! I got my wish! Next weekend I get to head out to Arizona! I’m really excited to see everyone and spend some quality time with my family.
Keep your eyes open for some new items coming to my RebeccaSteenPaints shop on Etsy! And stay tuned for a post after my trip. It should be fun 🙂
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Last week I started a list of the 5 places I want to go this year. No 1 is Arizona, where most of my family now lives, as well as where the Jets will be playing the Cardinals next season. So now, onto No 2!
No 2 – Vegas
I read a post recently over on A Beautiful Mess about 5 places she wants to go in 2016. It was inspiring so I decided to write my own version.
Realistically there are more than 5 places I’d love to go, but won’t get to this year. I guess I could write a list about ALL the places I’d like to go, EVER, but that would be quite a list. I’m going to split this into 5 posts, so you don’t feel like you’re reading a novel 😉
Last week I made the trek out to Indio to see a close friend. I hadn’t had the chance to visit her home since they moved away and I thought it was time. It was nice to finally see where she’s living, spend a little time talking, and just generally relaxing.
Hi and welcome to Rebecca Steen Art! This is the blog behind the artist. I’ll be giving shop updates and a peek into my life aside from the art and crafts.
This journey started November 1st, 2015 when I decided to give notice at my full time job and head out into the art world on my own. But not really on my own, as I have my awesome husband Eric by my side.
