Hooray! It looks like I’m heading to Arizona once again, with my sister and her boys. I’m really looking forward to it. This time, we’re going during the week, so I’ll have to put both of my Etsy shops on vacation, which can be frustrating. But as I don’t want to miss shipping deadlines, it’s a must.
I’ve been working outside of my comfort zone with my art lately. First it was by working on paper, then I started using not only paint but also oil pastels and pen. Now I’m starting to vary my techniques. Tuesday was extremely productive. I felt really good about what I had worked on as I was cleaning up at the end of the day. I spent a few hours working on motion in my art. It’s not something I’ve ever tried before and I’m usually a little weary about trying new techniques because I can get frustrated extremely easy.
I started out not being able to think of places I really wanted to visit this year, but the more I’ve thought about it, the more places are popping into my head. I was probably thinking too grand at first, but now that I’m thinking smaller, there are quite a few more than 5 places…

I’m going to start my period on Monday. If you’re uncomfortable with this knowledge, I suggest you leave now.
Do you want to know how I know? For one, I recently went back on birth control, as a way to regulate my extremely random cycles. The other way that I know, is because in a failed attempt to take apart our Brita pitcher for cleaning this morning, I began to cry and also rage, wanting to throw it through a window and be done with it.
Hey there! I’m going to be reviewing a few products I’ve been using. These are samples I have received in beauty boxes, through the mail, or just products I’ve fallen in love with. Enjoy!
Clockwise, from left to right – Dr Jart+ BB Night Beauty Balm, Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Dry Oil Spray, Loreal Paris Infallible Pro-Spray & Set Makeup Extender Setting Spray, Skinfix Ultra Rich Body Butter, L’Oreal® Paris Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Eye Cream
I received another Target Beauty Box last week, so of course I’m working on trying out all of the products 🙂 There’s only one double of something I’ve received before, but I’m all too happy to have another container of it, because it was amazing! Everything else is either a new color or scent or a new product altogether! I’m really glad they have started putting this box out more frequently because it really is fun to try out all these products that I would never just buy on my own.
I’m still working on reviews for items from past boxes as well. With them releasing these more often, I haven’t had the chance to use all of the products yet. So thanks for being patient with me!
Sorry I’ve kept you waiting for installment 3 of the 5 places I want to go this year! I hit a mental block and couldn’t figure out where else I wanted to go! Just being honest 😛

I’m really excited about this project I’m working on! I want you guys to be excited too so I’m giving a little sneak peak 🙂 I’ve been toying with this idea for some time now, but have been trying to figure out exactly how to execute it. I’ve had a lot of canvases sitting around taking up space that I haven’t really known what to do with. I liked them but didn’t love them. I thought about painting over them completely, but I liked them enough to not want to do that. So I added to them. Some drips, some splatters, and a lot of neon later, I present to you PAINTED CLUTCHES!!! Are you excited now?
I can’t believe it’s already March 4th. Seriously, as I get older, time flies by so fast. As a kid, summers felt so long! It was only the last few weeks that seemed to go by quick, as we were stocking up on school supplies and new clothes. Now it feels like months pass in the blink of an eye. I feel like New Years just passed.
